Despite the interested information from the Spanish Navy implying that the frigate “Méndez Núñez” and the combat supply ship “Patiño” are sailing through the Mediterranean because of the war in Ukraine, this is simply not true.
BOTH SHIPS ARE INTEGRATED IN THE FLEET THAT ACCOMPANIES THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER GERALD R. FORD, THE LARGEST IN THE US NAVY, SENT BY THE US GOVERNMENT IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL.
This is not an assumption of the CGT. Exactly as the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist-fascist State are happening in the eyes of the world, the US is not hiding either. NATO's social media themselves are reporting that Méndez Núñez “is operating with the Gerald R. Ford. in the eastern Mediterranean” and that the Patiño is “essential to sustain the ships [of the fleet] in operations”.

This is SHAMEFUL. It’s not enough that the Spanish State voted in the UN in favor of a resolution that is going to be a dead letter because of the Yankee veto. It’s not enough that the first minister Pedro Sánchez call for the celebration of a peace conference in 6 months. The massacre needs to be stopped NOW!
Both the Méndez Núñez and Patiño ships were built in our factory. BUT WE WORKERS DID NOT BUILD THEM TO COLLABORATE IN THIS GENOCIDE. The CGT believes, and will propose it in the workers council, that it is necessary to mobilize as Navantia-Ferrol workers to demand that this government needs to stop being an accomplice of the genocide.
