Donald Trump and Netanyahu have agreed on 20 infamous points for Gaza, which are being presented by the same media outlets and governments that for two years have refused to acknowledge the genocide, as a “peace plan.” It’s a lie. We are witnessing the “peace” of the genocidaires and the colonialists!

We are facing a plan tailor-made for the Zionists and their U.S. imperialist allies, one that exonerates them of their crimes, robs Gaza from the Palestinians—denying them the slightest shadow of justice—and turns them into subjects of a colonial regime under the direct control of Donald Trump. All with the recognition and support of the UN and all governments in the world, beginning with those who once criticized the genocide, such as Pedro Sánchez’s.

Completing the Palestinian Holocaust

After massacring the Palestinian population for two years—more than 680,000 killed (380,000 of them children), as the UN’s Special Rapporteur for Palestine publicly acknowledged on 15 September—the greatest infamy now unfolds: depriving the Palestinian people of any right to exist, converting Gaza into a colony officially, and keeping the West Bank under Zionist control in a regime of apartheid.

Donald Trump and Netanyahu have agreed on 20 infamous points for Gaza as a “peace plan.” It’s a lie. We are witnessing the “peace” of the genocidaires and the colonialists!

If there were doubts, Netanyahu needed less than half a day to make it clear that “the Zionist army will remain in most of Gaza, and they will never recognize a Palestinian state.” Meanwhile, the Zionist minister, Bezalel Smotrich, leader of the fascist settler gangs, proudly stated: "The Palestinian state is being wiped off the map, not with slogans, but with deeds. Every settlement, every neighborhood, every housing unit is another nail in the coffin of this dangerous idea (...). This is Zionism at its finest."

All this at the same time that the terrorist Israel state attack the Global Sumud Flotilla and kidnap hundreds of activists. And yet there are those who tell us that the plan agreed upon by these Zionist Nazis with Washington represents an opportunity for "peace" and a "hope" for the Palestinian people!

A Colony under Trump's tyranny

What Trump and Netanyahu have done is seal the spoils of conquest, like the imperialist killers and bandits they are. Meanwhile, they use the support of “their peace plan” by international institutions and governments—including those claiming to stand with the Palestinian people—to try erasing traces of the crimes already committed and those they intend to carry out under their rule over Gaza.

With Trump directly commanding the occupation forces and presiding over the so-called “Peace Board” (if it weren’t so tragic and criminal, it would be a bad joke), and leaning on another imperialist who also bears war crimes in Iraq—former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, turned into a kind of colonial viceroy—the Palestinian people can only look forward to more oppression and barbarism.

Control over Gaza’s gas resources, its lands, and the schemes to transform this devastated territory into a luxury resort will lie entirely in the hands of the U.S. president, who will distribute concessions to his own companies and to others he chooses. References to a “technocratic government made up of Palestinian and Arab personalities” are nothing but a smokescreen designed to mask occupation and the transformation of Gaza into a colonial protectorate.

This is the old tactic that empires have used in their colonies: to handpick a few sepoys to govern in the interests of their masters. In this case the same banks and big companies that have sponsored the genocide, financed the Zionist war machine, and struck all sorts of multi-million dollar real estate and tourism contracts to “rebuild Gaza” after the destruction they themselves caused.

With this plan, Trump and Netanyahu would fulfill the main objectives they set when they began this holocaust against the Palestinian people. U.S. imperialism, lacking the capacity to dominate economically and productively over its competitor—the imperialist bloc led by China—sends a message to the world: It will not give up its positions and interests without showing maximum barbarity and resorting to the most extreme colonial and imperialist measures.

Netanyahu has already presented the conversion of Gaza into a shared colony with the U.S. as a great victory. At the same time, the agreement allows him to retain unconditional economic and military support from U.S. and Western imperialism—threatened by the internationalist mobilization in solidarity with Palestine that is sweeping across the world.

A plan to defuse the global rebellion against Zionism

US diplomacy has launched a campaign combining threats and ultimatums, with promises of hard cash to gain the support of Arab and Muslim governments.

The United Arab Emirates and Egypt did not hesitate for a second to give their support. Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, key for their support and financing of Hamas, have sold themselves more dearly. But all have also shown their willingness to accept and whitewash the infamous measures that specify that Gazans who do not accept the status of subjects of the colonial regime may leave "freely" to neighboring countries, that is, they are forced into a forced diaspora.

Washington would therefore succeed in opening the Rafah crossing toward Egypt—blocked for months by Al Sisi’s puppet regime—and would gain the ability to expel part of the Palestinian population to Egypt or other Arab nations whenever needed.

As we have denounced many times, the betrayal of Arab and Muslim governments is a key element without which Washington’s and Tel Aviv’s genocidal plans would never have gone this far. The same goes for China and Russia, who put ahead their geopolitical ambitions and the benefits of their companies in the Middle East—including with Israel—over the slightest step in support of the Palestinian people.

A key point at this time is the response of Hamas leaders to Trump's ultimatum. Many activists in the Palestinian liberation movement and the Palestinian left, as expected, have expressed their rejection of a plan that perpetuates the Zionist and US occupation and renounces a free Palestine. But Hamas leaders have not been nearly as clear, and have expressed their agreement to release the hostages and begin negotiations with Israel and the US.

t's unclear what path Zionism's "peace" plan will take, but one thing is undeniable: based on the 20 measures, the only thing Trump and Netanyahu will negotiate will be the conditions of the surrender of the Palestinian people.

In a statement, the Hamas leadership expressed its “approval of handing over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian authority of independents (technocrats) based on the Palestinian national consensus and supported by Arab and Islamic backing.” At the same time, it insisted on a solution “based on international laws and resolutions,” the same ones that Israel and the US have systematically flouted, facilitating the current genocide.

At this point, it's unclear what path Zionism's "peace" plan will take, but one thing is undeniable: based on the 20 measures, the only thing Trump and Netanyahu will negotiate will be the conditions of the surrender of the Palestinian people and their complete subjugation. And this, moreover, will be under criminal blackmail: either you accept it, or the massacre will continue. This is the essence of the maneuver.

For a Socialist Federation of the Middle East!

At a time when mass struggles around the world are putting Zionism on the ropes, a consistent anti-imperialist and revolutionary leadership would call for maintaining this global rebellion and extending it to the Arab countries themselves.

We have long denounced the Oslo Accords, written by Washington with the support of the PLO leadership and a large part of the global reformist left, as a very useful tool for strengthening the Zionist regime in the occupied territories. The fiction of a Palestinian state controlled and surrounded by Israeli weapons would only lead to more suffering, oppression, and death.

The right of the Palestinian people to their own state cannot be resolved within the framework of capitalist, imperialist, and Zionist domination of the Middle East. The Palestinian people's right to self-determination can only come through socialist revolution, the overthrow of the Zionist terrorist state, and all the corrupt, bourgeois Arab regimes, vassals of Washington, which have never lifted a finger for the Palestinian cause and have been instrumental in Israel's advancement of this devastating strategy.

The right of the Palestinian people to live in their own territory is inextricably linked to the struggle for socialism, to the achievement of a Socialist Federation of the Middle East, which lays the foundations for peaceful coexistence where all the democratic rights of the peoples and nations within it can be respected. The idea that the Israeli bourgeoisie will tolerate an independent Palestinian state, as the Spanish government and others propose, is a complete farce and a reactionary utopia. They will never consent to it.

Combative unions must call a 24-hour general strike and demand that the CCOO and UGT agree that half measures are not enough in the face of a holocaust like the one the Palestinian people are suffering.

On October 15, everything must be shut down. We must go beyond the two-hour work stoppage planned by the CCOO and UGT, with a 24-hour general strike that will paralyze the economy.

Stop everything to stop the genocide

The mass rebellion has challenged the governments that have looked the other way for two years, and has forced several of them to publicly acknowledge that genocide is taking place.

Therefore, more than ever, after the enormous days of struggle on October 2, 3, 4, and 5, the general strike organized by the Student Union, the historic mobilizations of the 4th and 5th in Spain, and the general strike in Italy, we must continue to intensify the pressure and make the labor movement a protagonist in the battle.

On October 15, everything must stop. We must go beyond the two-hour work stoppage planned by the CCOO and UGT with a 24-hour general strike that will paralyze the economy, hitting the Spanish and European companies that finance this massacre and filling the streets by millions. This will be a huge step toward forcing the Government to cut all relations with Israel, impose a total arms embargo, and denounce this infamous plan that exonerates criminals and turns Gaza into a colony of Zionism and Trump.

From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!
15 of October: Stop everything to stop genocide!
